We recommend turning garments inside out and using low heat if ironing is necessary. Direct heat on the transfer should be avoided, just like with screen prints.
No, as long as garments are washed according to care instructions. DTF prints are stretchable, durable, and resist cracking and fading much better than older transfer methods.
Absolutely. When cared for properly, DTF prints are highly durable and can withstand multiple washes without fading or cracking. We provide “Care” cards with every shirt that can be passed on to your customers or employees!
DTF offers more color flexibility and doesn’t require separate screens for each color, making it ideal for complex, full-color designs and smaller print runs. Screen printing, while great for large batches, is more labor-intensive and less efficient for multicolor or custom jobs.
Yes, DTF excels on dark or colored garments because it uses a white ink underbase that makes the colors pop, without needing different ink mixes or multiple passes like in screen printing.
For small runs or multicolor designs, DTF is often more affordable because there are no setup fees or screen charges. For very large orders with 1-2 colors, screen printing might be more cost-effective — but less flexible.

Direct to Film (DTF) is a cutting-edge apparel printing method where designs are printed onto a special film and then heat-transferred directly onto fabric. This process allows for vibrant, full-color prints on a wide range of materials.
DTF is ideal for full-color, detailed, and short-run jobs. Unlike screen printing, which requires setup for each color, DTF allows for photo-quality prints with no color limitations, minimal setup, and quicker turnaround for small batches or one-offs.
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of order being place. After that any cancelation might incur a cost depending on where we are in the production process. Yes! You can mix sizes and garment styles and in fact you can even change up the design! That is one of the benefits of DTF. Because screens do not have to be created, changing designs, colors garments in the same order will not cost extra, and will get you the discounted cost for a larger order.
Yes! Once your design is on file, reorders are easy and often faster. Just let us know the previous order name or number.
Yes! We are able to offer a sample of your design, though the cost of 1 would be higher then the batch cost. We also are able to provide a sample print from a past job or something we have laying around if you just want to see the quality of a DTF print. Contact us for a sample!
Yes! Another major advantage of DTF printing is consistency—since there’s no ink mixing involved, we can perfectly replicate prints from previous orders. Regarding garments, if the original style is still available, we can match it exactly. If it’s been discontinued, we’ll work with you to find the closest possible alternative to maintain the same look and feel.

Yes, we do offer expedited services for an additional fee. Our typical lead time is 7-10 business days after artwork approval, but if you need something faster then that please reach out and we will do our best to meet your deadline!
We provide a digital mockup or proof before any printing begins. You’ll be able to review and approve everything before we move into production.
